Well, it was certainly an up and down season. Finishing with 7 wins is right around where I predicted. But I didn't think it would be Henne that played the majority of the year. He did OK in his first year as a starter. Made the mistakes you would expect. Too many INTs. No finesse on the ball. Overthrowing too many long balls. But he does have a gun for an arm and can make the long throw. Accuracy will come with more time with the receivers.

Davone Bess is a beast. Top on the team in receptions and a lot of them coming on 3rd down.

Ronnie ran well until he was injured. I love Ronnie, but does he deserve the big contract when he can't stay healthy?

Ricky is playing for one more year. The old man still has the goods but cannot be relied on to be the #1 RB. Fumbles at the end of the year proved that.

3rd and short? Need the first down? Just hand it off to fullback Lousaka Polite. He was perfect in 3rd down conversions.

Smith and Davis, 2 rookie corners who ended up starting. Common names for uncommon abilities. The comparison of these young men to Surtain and Madison are not far off in my opinion.

JT and Joey Porter ... neither had a stellar year but their experience helped the team come up big at times.

Just a couple pieces and the team is ready to compete again in 2010. Toad's wish list for the offseason?
*A REAL Wide Receiver (doubt Ginn will be a Fin next year if they find one). I would prefer a vet and not a rook, but either way I want speed AND ability.
* A younger Defensive Tackly. Ferguson is great but old and when we needed him most he was hurt.
*Linebacker that knows how to tackle.
*Safety that knows how to read an offense and stay in position.

Not a bad list when you consider that only 2 years ago, we needed an entirely new team.

Go Dolphins!! Next year is right around the corner.
